Our third annual Edison e-bike fundraiser has officially wrapped up, and this year’s lucky winner, Tony Barbagallo, has claimed his prize!
Tony recently stopped by Edison Electric Bicycles with his wife, Kristen Fowks, to pick up his brand-new e-bike. Tony’s name was pulled from 928 entries in this year’s donor drawing. Team Summer president Lynne Dale (in the middle) was there for the big moment!
Now all Tony and Kristen had to do was decide who got to ride the e-bike home! (It was Kristen!)
And there is one more Team Summer e-bike winner we want to celebrate! For the second year, we also gave away another e-bike to one of the fundraisers themselves. We had 17 participants this year, who together raised nearly $50,000. The lucky winner was Alex Carusi!
This was Alex’s second year fundraising for the Edison E-Bike Giveaway! Join our team next year, and you might be the one who wins the e-bike!
Many thanks to everyone who donated, fundraised, and helped spread the word. Your support makes it possible for Team Summer to continue its mission to connect kids with cancer to each other.
And a very special thank-you to Ryan Hersh and everyone at Edison Electric Bicycles for helping make this fundraiser possible!
Congratulations to Tony (and Kristen) and Alex! We hope you enjoy every mile on your new e-bikes!
