For the second year in a row, Team Summer dove headfirst into the icy waters of the Alpharetta Polar Bear Plunge! Hosted by the Alpharetta Rotary Club, this chilly challenge invites anyone brave enough—or crazy enough—to form a team, rally donations, and take the plunge for a great cause. Friends, family, and supporters cheer as participants jump into freezing cold water, all in the name of charity!
This year, Team Summer was represented by six incredible kids, ages 12 to 15. Three were returning veterans from last year, and the other three were new to the plunge, willing to jump in and experience the icy adventure for the first time!

The days leading up to the plunge brought some of the coldest weather of the winter, so that water was COLD! But our brave polar bears were undeterred!

Before taking the plunge, they huddled together for a big group hug—and maybe a little pep talk. With hearts racing, they got ready to leap into the icy water.

Up on the high dive, the anticipation was almost as intense as the cold water below. No backing out now—it was go time!

From flips to cannonballs, our polar bears hit the freezing water with style!

Even shivering from the icy plunge, their smiles kept everyone cheering.
