This coming Saturday morning, while the rest of us are snuggled up in our warm beds, an incredible group of kids—ages 9 to 18—will be splashing into the icy waters of the Wills Park pool for the Alpharetta Polar Bear Plunge! Why? Because they’re on a mission to make a difference. These fearless (and slightly frozen) kids are coming together to support Team Summer, and we couldn’t be prouder.
For them, this plunge is way more than a chilly dip—it’s their way of showing that kids helping kids can change lives. They’ve been hard at work raising funds by sharing their excitement for Team Summer’s mission with their families, friends, and communities.
So far, the Team Summer Polar Bears have raised more than $6,000! This money will go directly to helping create one-of-a-kind, kid-to-kid connections that bring hope, joy, and friendship to children battling cancer. These connections are at the heart of what Team Summer does—making sure no child fights alone.
We’re beyond proud of these brave kids (seriously, who else would jump into a freezing pool on a chilly February morning?!) and so grateful for the generosity of everyone who’s supporting them. Together, we’re proving that even the coldest challenges can’t stop the warmth of compassion and the power of community.
There’s still time to support the Team Summer Polar Bears! Your donation—big or small—will go directly to helping kids with cancer…plus, it will really encourage these kids to jump!
